GCal guide

Restore missing Premium or Classic access

Refresh App Store verification when a subscription, lifetime purchase, or previous paid-app purchase is missing.

Restore purchases

  1. Make sure the Mac App Store is signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase.
  2. Open GCal’s purchase or access-recovery screen and choose Restore Purchases.
  3. Allow verification to finish before closing the screen.

Subscription or lifetime access

An active yearly subscription or verified lifetime purchase provides Premium access. A subscription that expires falls back to the access otherwise associated with the installation and Apple Account. Store verification can be temporarily unavailable; GCal preserves recently verified Premium access for a bounded grace period rather than immediately changing the interface.

Previous paid-app access

Customers whose eligible paid-up-front purchase is verified receive Classic access. Classic and Premium are different access levels: restoring Classic does not enable newer Premium-only features.

If access is still missing

Quit and reopen GCal after confirming the App Store account, then retry restoration. Contact support with the app version, the access state shown by GCal, and whether the purchase was a subscription, lifetime option, or older paid app. Never send an Apple Account password, full receipt, or payment details.
