Choose which calendars appear

Understand the three places that control which calendars you see.

Choosing native Google calendars requires Premium. Existing Classic access may retain Mac-calendar features. Feature availability

Choose calendars for the native agenda

  1. Open Settings → Calendar.
  2. Under Calendars on This Mac or Google Calendars, select the calendars you want to include.
  3. Open the menu-bar agenda to check the result. The selection is also used by the Dock, widgets, and native notifications.

If a section asks you to connect an account or allow access, open Settings → Accounts first. A Refresh button reloads the available calendar list.

Choose calendars for the main window

Use the checkboxes in Google Calendar’s own sidebar, or apply a Calendar Set. Calendar Sets affect the main Google Calendar window; they do not replace the native-agenda selection in Settings.

Check filters and duplicate sources

macOS Focus filters can limit the menu-bar events and notifications you see while that Focus is active. Review your Focus filter if selected events are missing.

If you have connected the same calendar through both Google and macOS, check whether you have selected two copies. Keep the source you want in your native agenda. Hiding a source here does not delete its events.
